I got a 12-point suspension. Is this the course I need?
Yes. After a twelve-point suspension Ohio requires an approved remedial driving course, a retake of the complete driver license exam, proof of financial responsibility on file with the BMV, and a reinstatement fee. This course satisfies the first requirement. The other three happen at the BMV.
Is it really $69.95?
Yes. The certificate, the DETS entry, one exam retake, audio narration and support are all inside that number. There is no processing fee and no upgraded version of the course.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in full, at any time before you complete the course. Once you have passed the exam and the certificate is issued there is no refund, because it has already been earned and reported.
Will my insurance go down?
We do not promise that. Ohio's statutory premium reduction for mature drivers applies only to courses with classroom instruction, which this is not. Some insurers run their own programs; ask yours before you enroll if that is your reason.
